I had an interview this week, I think I may get this job, the interview went well. It's for an IT deployment tech with a very big hospital in the area. I want to stay in healthcare IT.

Hi!! I know it's been forever since I lasted posted, so let me catch you up real quick. Finished with the Win7 migration, June was a grueling month, and July has been going back out to the offices and doing cleanup, and training. Not all of our apps work with the new OS. So I've been on the road, a lot! One mileage form I submitted had 740 miles on it! That was for like 8 days! So yeah, I've been busy.
I joined bartending school! LOL Y'all know I got a car in April (had to, part of the job) so I want to get rid of the car payment as soon as I can. I figured I could get a 2nd job, like at Target or something, but then I thought why not bartending? I've always wanted to be a bartender, and I can put my tips directly towards the principal on my car loan. Some bartenders can make as much as $500 a day in tips! And while I don't count on making that much, I still think it'd pay more than a Target job. Tomorrow is my last class and then I practice and take a test for my certification, or license, not sure what the documentation is. It's harder than it looks, a lot of counting. LOL
As far as finding a different job, I'm still looking, and interviewing. and I feel pretty optimistic I'll find something soon. I just don't feel where I'm at is the place for me. I mean I like what I do, it's just the environment kind of goes against my core values, and this in turn is causing me anxiety. I've had a few anxiety attacks in the past couple of months, and once I figured out what was causing them, and what I can do to remedy the situation, the anxiety level has went way down.
Did I mention I joined a gym? I did, back in May, how many times have I went? Twice once to meet with a trainer, and once to pay my bill. LOL I haven't worked out yet! It's so intimidating! I think I'll start at a smaller gym. The gym in my neighborhood is a flagship gym, so it's huge and always crowded. There is one around the corner from work that is small and I hardly see many cars in the parking lot. Maybe I'll start going there after work this week. I'm 5'7" about 135 lbs, so I don't really have incentive. I don't want to get huge, but I'd like to put on maybe 10lbs, but with my metabolism; it's difficult cause I probably burned 300 calories typing this post! LOL!
About this song, I love the message! And it's so unique in it's tune. It will get stuck in your head. Oh, and wait until you see what I'm posting tomorrow for Songs of Sunday. Gonna be sexy! Kongos - Come With Me Now. This song was released like two years ago, but I recently heard it and fell in love with it! I love the beat, the lyrics, def my new fave song.
Nothing new going on here, still looking for a new job. I may have an interview this week. Current job is kicking my butt! Doing a Win7 migration. I've put in 98 hours since Monday. Only one day off this month, and no day off in sight. It's good tho, the OT will help out.

Hairy.
Dang, I've had my blog for 9 years. LOL Wow! And lately I've been slacking. Okay, here is what's going on. I had another job interview this week, once again, I was 2nd choice. I really wanted this one, too. Oh well, not meant to be, not meant to be. My current job, where we are super busy with the upgrade, I'm on 11 days straight and have NO idea when my next day off will be. I guess my boss was told that he had a June 30th deadline to get this migration done. Which means I, and my counterpart, have a June 30th deadline to get this done. Haha. We're making good time tho, got two locations done (our largest) and 3 more left. I think we'll be fine.
Other than that, not much going on just looking for a new job, working in this job. Oh, I joined a gym. I have yet to go tho. lol But I will start going, I just need gym attire. Haha! ;) My muse for today's post. I saw the cutest guy in scrubs today at our downtown office, and he wasn't wearing a tee shirt...had a very nice chest! Enjoy! :) peace

Songs of Sunday
Dierks Bentley - Drunk on a Plane. So the other day I clicked On Demand on our cable box, and some country music award show was on there. So I clicked it, turns out it was from December! Haha, but I watched most of it (the Xmas commercials were throwing me off) but I did hear about this song, and I loved it!
