Wow it's been almost a week. Well I'm on vacation. LOL My roomie left for a week, he'll be back tomorrow, so I've just enjoyed having the place to myself. I watched the first season of Revolution, and the first season of Orphan Black. Both are great shows I highly recommend!

Not sure what happened with the interview, recruiter never called me to reschedule. I had an unemployment insurance benefits interview though. Looks like I will qualify for benefits, should know next week. So that's a good thing. Hopefully I'll get them while I look for a new job.

It's HOT today, like 104! My roomie doesn't like to use the A/C (cheap) but it's on today! Fo sho! The muse for today's post is, the job interview I thought I had, and the unemployment bennies I MIGHT get. LOL Enjoy your weekend! ;) peace

I know I've been lax at updating, but looking for a job and studying for my MCITP is time consuming. Haha. Hope you are all having a good week. I've got some good job leads in the IT field that I'm hoping pan out. If not the Denny's up the street is opening in June LOL. I already have a contact  who can get me in as a server, so if nothing else. I can feel it though, change is coming, good change. ;) peace

Still no word on the new job I applied for. Interview went okay, but I don't know if it's the best move for me. Plus the guy wants like a year commitment, and I'm not sure I can do that. We shall see.

I'm just enjoying my first day off of three. Not doing much today, but torrenting my shows at the library. I was going to go downtown and walk around, but it's a lil chilly and I'm just wearing a thin hoodie. I did hear from the dealership that says I need to be on my job six months before they can help me, he was just checking in because in a few weeks it'll be six months on my job. Another reason why I don't think going to the new job will be a good idea. I'd have to start all over again. Although, I'd be able to save money for a down, which I'm unable to do now. Ugh! LOL So many decisions! Hope you are all having a great week. ;) peace

Today is my Monday, back to work! :) I like my schedule, but I'm ready for an IT job. Although, I can't really get that prime position until I get my certs. So next week that is what I'm going to start studying for. I have to take 3 tests for my MCITP (google it) :).

So, while I'm somewhat content at the moment with my job, I feel life can be a lot better once I get my certs, and a car. Hope you all have a great weekend. ;) peace

So, since I've graduated college it's all about looking for a job. It's tough! I know I'll end up working fast food or something, but I'm okay with that. You do what you gotta do. I've applied everywhere from IT jobs to Wal-Mart, I'm hopeful. I've had a couple bites from the IT world, I feel like it's so close. My entry level IT dream job is around the corner, I can feel it, but if not...well I'm prepared to ask "do you want fries with that?"

So today was my last tech class. Took my final in Cisco, and got an A, and that's it no more tech classes. It was kind of weird. I've been with three of the guys for 2 years and the rest of the class for the last year. We started with 21 guys a year ago, and 9 of us finished. Me and two friends usually play cards before lecture, and after lecture. We play and joke and I crack them up because I keep forgetting the rules. LOL The game is called Dueces and we play the Chinese, and the Vietnamese style. Anyways, it occurred to me that this would be the last time we played in class. It's beginning to sink in that I'm almost done with this degree. I can taste the freedom! Haha.

Still job searching, I'm feeling optimistic. Just gotta focus on these last six weeks of Statistics and then I'm done! So close! ;) peace

So my best friend from high school gave me a laptop today. I was so excited, it's a much more powerful machine than what I have. And my laptop is so beat up, like it has a crack in the casing, the risers fell off from underneath so it gets NO air. I was so excited! Well um, the new laptop I just got can't connect to the internet. Ugh! I think the NIC is bad. So I will look into replacing that, after I tried reinstalling the drivers. Oh well, it was free, but was such a tease! ;) peace

So today is our 4th day of not seeing the sun! Normally I would be sad, but I'm putting my selfish reasons aside, and thinking California needs the rain. It kinda sucks though, because I am sun person. I think by Monday we will be okay.

It was kinda weird, but I saw two weather systems come through today. And in between, the sun ALMOST peeked out. Tease!

Sure enough, the phone interview I had with HP was canceled for Monday. I still think that was just too easy. You can scroll down to my Rant if you wonder what I mean. Anyways, I'm still looking for a job; and the interview getting canceled is my muse for tonight's post. Enjoy! ;) peace

So the other day I realized something, that I will be a Systems Administrator after my next class. Well not really, but I will be qualified to be one! My degree won't be done until July, but I can technically apply for SA jobs. Wow. Just seems like yesterday I signed up for school. What I want to do is so close, it's almost like a Tease. Almost, it's up to me to get my MS certs! Hope everyone is having a great week! ;) peace
