Nothing new to report. I'm almost through my first pool of questions (469), for the first of my 3 Microsoft Certification exams for my MCITP. Still job searching, and still interning downtown. Other than that, not much else going on. Hope everyone is having a great week! ;) peace

Well I am officially unemployed! Just chilled the past couple days. I'll start looking for a job tomorrow. I got a nice send off from work, they got me a card, and cake, and lunch. My manager said when he FINALLY gets the position approved for a permanent one, can he call me? I said yes. It was never the job, just the lack of not making any money. I also didn't realize how much the people there liked me, my card made me kind of cry because of what people wrote when they signed it. I'm optimistic though, life is good. Today's muse for this post is me being a lameo. I made spaghetti today, I fried my hamburger, added onions, garlic, chili powder, and then cut up some jalapenos. It was delish, and yes I did wash my hands before I ate, but I guess not good enough. I rubbed my eye at some point and felt instant pain! LOL OMG! Took me awhile to rinse it, but finally my eye didn't feel like one raw nerve. Haha. So, here are some eyes that definitely do not cause pain. ;) peace

Back to work today! Ugh! Was not a very productive 3 days off, but was a very welcomed break after my 50+ hours put in last week. Still job searching, and I should find out in the next few days about car financing. We shall see. Hope you all had a great work week, and enjoy your weekend. Back to the grind for me. ;) peace

It's All About the Eyes

My warehouse foreman at work did the whole "No Shave November" thing, for like 3 months! LOL He finally shaved and got a haircut, and now you can notice his pretty eyes again. Today is my day off, 1 of ,3 so I'm just relaxing and getting my study materials ready for my Microsoft certs. Still renting a car to get to work, had the new Hyundai Elantra this past weekend. It was a very nice car and I like the body style.

I'm still thinking about applying at the restaurant opening up the street. I like my job, it's fun and the people are cool, but paying $300 a month to get there is kind of a strain. If worked up the street I could walk, and with the varied schedule I could study for my certs. Hmmm, we'll see. If it's meant to be, it'll happen.

It's all about the Eyes

I had an eye doctor appointment this morning at IHS (Indian Health Services).I have perfect vision, even better than perfect (wait, what?) I have 20/15 vision. Seriously my eye Dr. said I had better than perfect vision, that wasn't me making a Leo ditzy move, haha! BUT, I do need reading glasses. I blame Intel, and the year I worked for them, and was on my work issued laptop at least 16 hours a day!

Got some studying in today, but no homework was completed, that's okay. I can catch up real easy when it comes to writing code, I'm a fast typist! Hope you are well. ;) peace

So today, I was making a right turn and a very hot guy on a bike pulled up next to me. We smiled at each other, and he motioned for me to roll my window down, which I did. He then asked me what time it was, I told him and he smiled. He had the prettiest eyes! The muse for tonight's post. :)

Had a great time with the guys in class today, my guys consist of a white guy, an Asian, a Mexican and me...Native American. We are so racially offensive with each other! LOL it's great though, all in good fun. BTW I'm supposed to wake up with the sun, LOL ! My one friend has never been to Yosemite, I told him it's okay you're Mexican. Haha, he was like "what should be the level of me being offended?". LOL we all laughed. Friendship is awesome. We have a study group tomorrow, but I think the Asian friend really wants us to try this dance game he got for Kinect for Xbox. Nerds trying to dance, should be fun. Didn't do much today school wise! Just one assignment AND on top of that I found 4 more which are due by next week, so it went from 8 to 6 to 5 to 9! haha!

On the other hand this guy was trying to get me to take a test drive in a Toyota for a $10 gift card, his eyes were ASTOUNDING! I'm not even sure I heard half of what he said. They were yellow in the middle, surrounded by green and then a brilliant light blue on the outside. I was in a daze! :p Hmmm, no wonder I get no studying done, I'm easily distracted! haha!

I've been neglecting my blog. Sorry blog followers. Just a lot had been going on and then everything got good. :) So, I'm in a good place! Still waiting to hear on the car from my brother, still trudging away at school, and still keeping that positive outlook that got me this far. Today's post is inspired by Breaking Bad, haha, I know...weird inspiration. Well there are two characters on the show who have great eyes! Walt Jr., and Jesse, so I thought it's time for an It's all about the Eyes post. Enjoy! ;) peace

Talked to my cuz today, we're actually swapping out vehicles as opposed to her taking the van back. Was so relieved, so school is still on, and so is the job search! whew! Plus it's a Corolla, so it will save me on gas, the van was killing me!

So far 2nd year is going great in school! I sit next to Matt in both classes, and it's nice to be back with the guys again. Also, my teachers rock, laid back and chill!

So Matt already inspired a post of "It's all about the Eyes", and tonight he does again. He does this "crazy eye" thing and it drives me crazy 'cause I don't know if he's nuts or mad! ha! He kept doing that tonight in class, and I kept telling him to stop, so he did it more. (If I was on Twitter #smh), so here is an Eyes post for you all. Enjoy! ;) peace

Finished my last day class this morning! Woo hoo! No more waking up early! Well, at least until I find a job. Last night was 2nd year orientation, and I must say I feel a bit overwhelmed by the tech courses we will be taking! It's going to be rigorous to say the least! I'm looking forward to it though.

Of the 19 guys in my first tech class, only 7 of us made it to the second year. Of the 12 guys in MY class (started when I did) only 4 of us have moved on to 2nd year. Kinda weird. Although my tech teach in my first class (HTT, Hot Tech Teach) did say that as the year went on the class size will dwindle, and it certainly did. It is going to feel weird not being at school during the day. The 2nd year of your program is only at night, this way you can work in your field during the day and apply what you learn from your night classes. I'll also have to go on Saturdays, ugh! 2 nights a week and Saturdays!

So for now I'll be leaving behind Hottie, Pierced, SJ, and others who have been a part of my TL on Twitter for almost a year now. I'll see them when they get to their 2nd year though.

Today Matt and I gave our final presentation, so glad to be done with that class! His eyes are the inspiration for my post! Matt has gorgeous yes! ha! And no, I don' think of Matt like that, he's a sweetie though. Enjoy your Thursday! I'm going to veg a bit, and then head back to campus to meet with Career Services. ;) peace
