Mika and Web Browsers...

....a couple of things I've experienced today. First, web browsers...I've been playing with a few to see which one is fastest because since I live in a hotel(s) I often have slower connections. So I get this email from BofA saying my account has been compromised and they need my account details to make sure my account is okay blah blah blah. Yeah, I don't have a BofA account and I get this email like once a month. I was using Opera at the time and I thought...hmmm...so I clicked the link in the email and Opera caught it and said it was a malicious website and blocked me from going to it. Cool. Would Mozilla do the same thing?, we shall see, sure enough it did...blocked me from connecting and even had a button that said Get me out of here!
Well of course IE
is going to block it right? I mean hello it's Microsoft!! The browser is like on 90% of the world's computers right? Well not exactly, but something like that and I think Firefox is #2. So I tried the experiment again, first off when I opened IE the phishing protection turned off in my Norton, cute. I turned it back on and then clicked the link in my email...IE took me right to the site!! I could not believe it!! I literally just looked at my screen for like a 10 seconds before I quickly shut the window down and ran a virus scan. I haven't used IE in like 12 years, I've always used Mozille Firefox and lately I've discovered Opera which really is hella fast, I'm happy with it. I also use Google Chrome once in awhile because my Realplayer downloads web video from it (but yet not from my other browsers?). Okay enough of that, I love Mika and here is his latest single, I'm not sure if I think he's cute or not but I love the song Billy Brown. Enjoy. ;) peace

Storm Chasers

Okay, so you know those people who own wild animals (like lions or grizzly bears) and then they get killed by them? Well, I feel bad they died but come on, we aren't meant to own those type of animals. Dogs, cats, fish...sure but not something that can EAT you!! So then I catch this marathon of Storm Chasers, people who follow thunder cells and video tornadoes...with microphones and cameras...in an electrical storm. Do I really need to go on?? So there is this guy named Reed Timmer who is on the Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers. Um, he's kinda cute...kinda but he's an idiot! OMG! He takes chances, like death defying chances but my biggest bitch...he wears FLIP FLOPS while storm chasing, he jumps on the roof of a car with a camera to video tape the storm. Okay, now when his dumb ass gets electrified, or breaks an ankle RUNNING for his life...I'm going to laugh my ass off. I'm gonna be like, tool, you just got used. I haven't really watched these videos I'm uploading, I just grabbed them off Youtube, but when I watched that marathon...I was like, he's an idiot and I would have left his ass in the field and took my native ass to safety. Really. He's kind of hot though (dorks are hot) so, he makes my blog. I grew up in South Dakota where there are a lot of tornadoes and I must say we were not out with the video camera trying to tape them, uh no. I'm all about following your passion but don't put your life and the lives of others around you in danger. If these videos don't showcase that, keep looking, you won't have to look far.

I think this is like an F4, right off the road and he's just now running back to his car!?? WTF?






And here he is being a jerk, I like Joel because he has common sense and he is the one who should leave Reed's ass in a field. Um, does anyone else think this is a lovers quarrel?

Songs of Sunday

A special treat this Sunday! Not only will we have cool song, but I am also able to incorporate a hot guy!! So it's like a Today's Weather and Songs of Sunday merger, awesome! Okay, so I was watching VH1's equivalent of True Hollywood Story and it was about Pink and how she started out and blah blah blah. This in turn reminded me of one of her first videos There You Go, with the hot guy in in it? You remember the basketball player and she jumps in the car with him at the end and drives off (lucky beeyatch!). So, fired up the laptop and I bring you, a hot guy, one cool song, a hot guy, and one okay song...only posted because of...you got it, the hot guy! :) His name by the way is Christian Monzon, he is a model/actor and I could SWEAR I've posted him before but this is when I was lazy and didn't put labels on my post...although I could try and search my blog but once again, lazy. Also a song from Mandy Moore, I do not need to say what I think of the song but I'm happy April on Youtube put the video together anyways. ;) In any case enjoy, welcome November and I'm going to try and post about Storm Chasers here in a minute after I watch it on Discovery. I've been watching the marathon all day...I have thoughts I must express!!! ;) peace

...I have always found him so hot! Now he has a TV show called Community which I watch religiously! Not sure if it's the eyes, the smile, the dimples the fact that he's tall...dunno. Anyone agree?? ;) peace

Hodgepodge!

Okay so sometimes when I surf I'll find a pic that I like and think "I must blog that!" but then when I go to my Blog folder to see what delicious items I have in there...I totally go blank as to why I saved them!! So here is a hodgepodge of hot men that I uh, don't really know why I downloaded. I mean yes they are hot, but I knew I was going for a theme and not just a "Today's Weather" thing. So there is this song I like called Good Girls go Bad and I wanted to know who sang it, so I went to Youtube. This is the first video that popped up and me being me thought it was an original video, um, it's not. He's a lil hottie though so I had to post it. He's also like Mr. Youtube 2009 number 3 (more on that later), from his videos I found other videos and basically have been stuck on Youtube all day!! It's like I JUST discovered Youtube! There are some funny kids on there, I laughed a lot today. ;)peace.

I won at Bingo...!

...I come from a Bingo family, parents, aunts, uncles it's like your 18th birthday initiation. Um, I hate bingo, but my cousin talked me in to going tonight with our parents. Okay I am so unlucky and so is my mom, well peep this. I won $70 bucks, okay wished it was more but grateful, my dad won $175 the game after me and my mom, the most unluckiest person on earth...won the last game for $250!! That is so cool and has never happened before, ever, me and my parents winning bingo all in the same night!! Some would say my life sucks, no job, living in a hotel (when I can afford it) but ya know what? Life is good. ;) peace
