Today's Weather...

...was gray! Actually this was supposed to post yesterday! Haha, I forgot to hit publish. But so nice with the rain, and the cool weather. It didn't stay long, but it felt good while it was here. I had an interview for an IT job that I really want, it's 100% travel, but I'm okay with that. Different city each week for a year. I should know soon if I got it. There were some negotiation points that need to be settled first. Would be pretty awesome if my first IT position is a consultant role. I had my graduation ceremony on Friday, was such a good time. My parents, best friend, and best cousin attended. My parents went back home, and I went out for drinks with my cuz and friend afterwards. Was nice to catch up with two of the most important people in my life. I'm happy that chapter of my life is over, but this time next year I'll probably be back in school working on another degree. :) Back to work tomorrow, hope you all have a great week! ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...was gray. It kinda felt like fall! It was also very gusty out, one of those days I'm thankful I have my backpack on, or else I'd blow away!

First off, my apologies. I shocked MYSELF when I saw I hadn't blogged in 7 days!! I swear, I am blogging in my head to you guys all the time! LOL So maybe I think I blogged a post, but I guess it's all in my head. Yes I'm concerned for me, too. Haha. Losing it.

Well I'm down to 3 more stats classes and I'm done. 2 more unemployment checks, and then that's gone. Still frantically looking for a job, hoping Josh can hook me up with a waiter position. He asked for my # the other day btw. :)

I interviewed for an IT position a couple days ago, I didn't get the position, but it was my first IT interview so that was kinda cool. I learned a lot from it. The location was difficult for me to get to though, so it may be a good thing.

So yeah, that's all. I got an A in my Cisco class, a B on my Stats test, and I'm still terrified of failing Stats and not graduating. So yeah with all that, and looking for a job, worrying about money, studying for my MS Certs, I'm kind of a mess. But a hot mess who looks like he has it all together. Haha which is probably why I THOUGHT I had blogged this past week.

Today's Weather...

...is Hot!! We are supposed to be in the 100's all week. Luckily where I live, we have a Delta breeze usually. So if it's a 100 it only feels like maybe 95, lol! Still hot, but bearable. With no car I tend to study in the clubhouse on hot days, but today I came to the library to use their bandwith. :) Wasn't too bad of a walk, and it's really close. The heat is supposed to last until this weekend, which btw Saturday is my last Saturday class! Woo hoo! Had Saturday class for over a year! Ugh! Not that I'm a party animal on Friday nights or anything, but getting up early on Saturdays to go to class is never fun. Even if you like the class.

Today's weather...

...has been ideal! Yesterday was mid 70's, today was low 80's, both days with a nice breeze. Cools down nice in the evenings. Just awesomeness. PLUS, I think my allergies are finally going away. Walked to the store today without sneezing my head off! Just a couple sneezes. I usually only get allergies for about a month out of the year. Unlike my brothers who are pretty much in agony the whole summer. Nothing much else to share, still looking for a job, still studying, and just knowing everything will work out car/job wise. I did however, find out (since El Swiss wanted to know my good news) when my unemployment will end. It's not as bad as I thought. So now that I have a date, I can focus, not knowing was the worst part, and trying to call EDD is impossible. I did send an email and got a quick reply. So yeah, now I can focus more on my studies, and job searching, just knowing a date makes my concentration so much better. Hope everyone has a great week! ;) peace

2nd day of rain. It's dark, and gray, and wet! I don't mind because we need the rain, but I'm a sun person. If I go too long with out seeing any sun, I get sad. :( I think this weather is only supposed to last a few days though.

When I lived in Oregon with my brother, I saw the sun twice in like a month and a half. I was going out of my mind!! Then I realized if I drive upriver I could escape the coastal fog, made life so much better, and I played some good golf at the golf course I found up there.

Today's Weather

Was hot! Ugh! I don't know what we did to Mother Nature to make her mad here in Cali, but we need some rain, and cooler temps! Supposedly this weekend will be cooler and we will get a storm next week, so that's good news!

Not much has changed for me, still no car, still in school and still keeping that positive attitude! Gotta. Not much changes for me, and I'm kinda okay with that, I just feel in a rut sometimes. Meh, that feeling comes and goes.

The only bad thing about the cooler weather is hot guys will be wearing more clothes, so my muse was the weather today. Let's enjoy some hotness! Hope everyone is having a good week! ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...was a mix of everything! We had sun, rain, sleet, and hail! Even some funnel cloud sightings! Mother Nature def had some jokes today. So, you get a bit of everything also.

Was a great day at school, all the guys this morning said my presentation was best and theirs sucked, lol, I disagreed. HNM didn't show up for class tonight, but I did find out I have the second highest grade in my night class! I'm only trailing by two points! I'm on it! ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...started cold and gray, and ended sunny and cold. :) Works for me!
Was a lazy day, I did try and go work on my presentation, but didn't feel too motivated. I did get it started though, so I'm happy about that. I'll finish it tomorrow, or at the very least, get it halfway done. The cool thing is I'm not all that nervous about presenting anymore, while at least in this class. Probably because it's just 7 of us, and I have Matt. Who btw tries to freak me out before I present, because he knows how much I hate public speaking! lol, ass! He doesn't do it to be mean though. He just teases me. Plus all the other guys are tech guys, except for 2, but they're hella cool. So yeah, this class isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Plus the teacher (the one whose husband flirts with me, and which is why I think she hates me) is hella cool this term. Turns out, we both are not morning people, so we have that in common. Just a few more weeks and I'll be done with my first year! Awesome!

Today's Weather...

...was gorgeous! Perfect weather, not too hot! Spent the day with my cousin and nieces wandering around Old Sacramento. Plenty of eye candy!
So my best friend is back in Cali for a couple weeks and we finally decided on what we're going to do for our night out. It took some negotiating, but we've come to agreement. Going to go out to his local gay bar on Thursday night. Believe me, it took us a awhile to get there. He opened with a s*x club in SF, and I can't stand gay bars, so this is an okay medium. We could have planned something more fun, but I have a fundraiser I'm committed to on Saturday (volunteering my time as an IT guy to fix veteran's computers). Knowing this he pushed for Friday (because the bar will be more busy) but I need to be on my game Saturday morning. Plus I'd have to drive back an hour Saturday morning, and didn't want to do that. I said what about Saturday night but he's going to be at a family reunion. So Thursday night at the local gay dive it is! Actually works for me, there will be less people to deal with. It bugs me he won't even TRY and go to a straight bar/club/venue with me but I always do the gay stuff for him. Oh well, it's one night in many years, I can handle it. I'm a bit concerned about running into my ex there though. The last time I saw him was at this bar, trying to get him to push me or throw a first punch so I could whup his ass (he who swings first goes to jail). He's just as hood as I though, didn't happen. Long story behind that. Anyways, that's water under the bridge, and I'm sure I'll have a great time. Okay not great, but at least maybe I can make some money hustling the gays at pool. ;) peace
