Not much going on, enjoying the new car thing. Not going to enjoy my first car payment. LOL

It's possible I may have an interview this week with another company doing pretty much the same thing, except it's more phone support. Also there will be some web support, so that'll be interesting to learn. And that's what it's all about, is learning. I'm ready to move on from my current position, I got some experience on my resume now. Time to move forward.

Today was crazy at work! Software was failing, people had bad attitudes, compatibility issues with our system and our vendor system. Ugh! But I like it, it's fun and I get paid for it. However, I am going to start looking for something else only because in IT you need to keep learning, and evolving, and this is a dead end job. No room for advancement because it's such a small company. So we'll see. I talked to a tech recruiter today, and she seemed optimistic about getting me a good IT gig. I want to learn more, and eventually pick a specialty.

My muse for today is the weather. Was sunny and warm, but by the end of the day it got cloudy and gray. Wow, I think this is my 3rd day in a row posting! I def will try and make it a habit! Enjoy! ;) peace

Beautiful

Well I finally got a car. It's used, it's compact, but it runs. Am I happy? Kinda. I mean, I've been without a car for like 3 years. I got used to the bus, and walking, and being "green". Okay I only say I was green 'cause I didn't have a car. LOL But now I have a car payment, and insurance, and gas, and debt! So, I'm like ummm, hmmm...I wish I didn't need a car for my job, but I do. I met my job requirements, which is to own a car. And just in time, my schedule changed yesterday. I start in one office, and finish my day in another. Every day until our migration to Win 7 is done. So I def needed it. It is weird knowing that I don't have to turn my "rental" back in. Which is what I've been doing the past year and a half. Renting cars. Like, I actually have a car now. So yeah, yes and no, I'm happy.  In any case, it's definitely not a a total negative thing.

I know I haven't blogged in forever, so this is just a quick post to let you know I'm still around. The job is going great, I'm so busy most days, and the days I'm not I'm studying for my certs. I'm looking to buy a car in the next week, yay. Although, I do really like my bus and shuttle rides. But, I need it for my job. Other than that, not much going on. Today's muse is the hot guy at work who just got back from vacation, looking all tan and hotness! ;) peace

Chainsmokers - #Selfie I love this song! I heard it on the radio the other day and was like, oh yeah, totally blogging that. I am no stranger to social media, so I totally get her references. My fave is "It's not even summer, why does the DJ keep playing Summer Time Sadness?" LOL "Who goes out on Mondays?" LOL Ya gotta watch, hilarious, and yet a very danceable song.

So the new roomie moved in yesterday, he seems cool. We drink the same cheap beer, so I'm cool. Haha. Work is going to be crazy tomorrow, but I'm still liking it a lot. I've been transferred to our downtown office, where I'm responsible for training the doctors in our dictation software. I'm also getting some Visual Basic training for some GUI parts of our medical management system.

The house is getting internet on Wednesday, yeah! So I'll be able to look for hot pics, if I hadn't mentioned my other lappy died about a month ago, along with my pool of pics of hot guys. I know, I know, I should have backed up. LOL IT guy! Hope you all have a great week! ;) peace

iPhone Men

I'm not even going to apologize for not posting in over a month LOL. I will just say that my hot roomie moved out, well actually he was asked to move out because he hasn't paid rent in two months. I miss the eye candy, and him actually. It's for the best though. Him and I were headed into a place I didn't want to be with him. Yes, I know that's vague. LOL We had our own bubble, let's say. On the other hand, I need a new phone as mine is having trouble charging. So I was going to get the Samsung S4 this weekend (I have the S3) but then I stopped myself and thought; that would be an epic fail! I buy the S4 today, but in 3 weeks the S5 will be out...it was a duh moment. So I'll just wait. What I won't be buying, and never will buy, is an iPhone. Hence, the pics. :) Oh, the house is getting internet next week, so I will be posting more. For realz, tho! :p Enjoy! ;) peace

Hi, remember me? Happy New Year!  LOL I know, it's not even excusable that I haven't blogged in over a month! So let me just give you the bullet points:

Still loving the job, they're moving me to the downtown office; where I'll have my own office and have more responsibilities. I'll become a subject matter expert in our dictation software and train the doctors on how to use it.

I love where I live. We now have another roomie, so that makes 4 of us, and he's a perfect fit for the house. We've all bonded, we get along and I couldn't be more happier in my new home. We shoot pool, drink beer, and basically just goof off like every night. LOL But we get up and go to work responsibly the next day. I have one gay roomie, one "straight" roomie, and one straight roomie. LOL The quotes are because him and I have a very weird relationship, I think he's into me and he's having trouble accepting that, for the record years and years ago, he dated the gay roomie briefly. Sooo, I dunno. In any case, he's hot, and fun and I enjoy his company and that's pretty much where it's at. I'm not keen on a dating a roomie anyways, but it's fun teasing one. LOL

Still no car, but once they move me to the downtown office, that will be my primary location, so I won't need to rent a car as often, therefore I can save some money up and get my own car. Also it's an easier commute public transit wise. So all in all, life is good. One of my friends suggested I should be blogging about what happens in the "gay house" as I call it. I call it the Gay House 'cause when I was looking at rooms, it was either this one, or one around the corner...so to differentiate them when talking to my friends about them, I called this one the Gay House because of my gay roomie. Haha.

So maybe I'll start doing that, maybe after we're done playing pool for the night; provided I'm sober enough to type. LOL
