Abs

So my muse for tonight's post is the Sheriff who lives in the condo complex. The other night he parked in my spot, tonight he came up and apologized and then tapped my stomach. He then smiled and said "nice". He then apologized again, rubbed my shoulder and walked away.

Hmm, I don't really have abs, but I appreciate his "nice". LOL.

My bro won't be down until the 13th for his car, so I get a couple extra weeks. Happy for that. Skipped class today because my friend wanted to do a free health clinic at Cal Expo, but then he bailed. So I guess we will go Monday.

Homework to catch up on, I will do that tomorrow. Hope you are all great. ;) peace

Dixie Chicks - Lullaby
Today started out rough, don't want to relive it, but the day progressed and got better. I'm just not used to feeling anger, or being pessimistic, or arguing. Life is great, and I knew my day would turn into something good, which it did. So despite the fact I couldn't get my script to run (tech homework), my day ended on a much more positive note.

Now watching some mindless TV, and listening to this song between shows. JJ did this video like a year ago, I love it. It's so calming, I don't really feel like interacting with anyone, just want to be chill and let go of the remnants of the day.

Thanks to Chris for listening to me vent, and letting me know I'm on the right path, and to stay on it. I so appreciate his concern. :)

iPhone Men

Had a great day at school. I mean it sucks having to go to class on Saturdays, but we're all kind of loopy so early in the morning; it makes for interesting convos. Today was Balut, or duck fetuses (google it). Haha. Always so random. And China is more than a desert, pics of tall buildings make me dizzy, tobacco grows other places than the South, and the list goes on.

I got some studying done, got some prices to get my brother's car worked on, sent an email about a car for myself, and did some clean up and organizing on my hard drive. Don't lie, you know you want this exciting life! Haha j/k I'm just happy to be where I'm at.

No muse for tonight's post only that out of our class, only guy has an iPhone. That I know of. Most of us are Android, but my phone has been making me mad lately. No, I will not get an iPhone, me and my Android will go to couples therapy before that happens! In any case, enjoy and I hope you are having a great weekend! ;) peace

Pip & Nathan Parrett - Video Games

I love this cover of Lana Del Rey's "Video Games", Pip and Nathan sing well together. Nathan lost to Pip on The Voice the other night. :( Pip was the stronger performer though. Oh and Nathan is gay, not that it matters! Haha.

Went to the eye doctor today for my glaucoma tests. So far so good! One more test in May, but I will have to get tested once a year. Something in my eyes are a bit larger than in most people. My doctor said some people are just born like that. Just in case, once a year I need glaucoma tested, but now it looks like I don't have it.

Study group tomorrow, I have 2 1/2 weeks of HW to catch up on! LOL It's scripting though, so I should catchup quickly. Hope you all are great! ;) peace

I got all A's for last term! Actually I think me and the guys just got A's. There are four of us. Everyone else in the class got C's. So I guess I kinda worried for nothing, I deserved a C though. I'm not complaining about my Exchange class. For once.

Was a great night with the guys in class, we did Spock hands, talked about The Big Bang Theory, it's so good to just be a nerd with them. :)

Have a study group on Friday, looking forward to that. And even though I will be without a car soon, my friend said he'd come pick me up and take me to class. Life is good.

Tease

So today is our 4th day of not seeing the sun! Normally I would be sad, but I'm putting my selfish reasons aside, and thinking California needs the rain. It kinda sucks though, because I am sun person. I think by Monday we will be okay.

It was kinda weird, but I saw two weather systems come through today. And in between, the sun ALMOST peeked out. Tease!

It's all about the Eyes

I had an eye doctor appointment this morning at IHS (Indian Health Services).I have perfect vision, even better than perfect (wait, what?) I have 20/15 vision. Seriously my eye Dr. said I had better than perfect vision, that wasn't me making a Leo ditzy move, haha! BUT, I do need reading glasses. I blame Intel, and the year I worked for them, and was on my work issued laptop at least 16 hours a day!

Got some studying in today, but no homework was completed, that's okay. I can catch up real easy when it comes to writing code, I'm a fast typist! Hope you are well. ;) peace

BW Pics

2nd day of rain. It's dark, and gray, and wet! I don't mind because we need the rain, but I'm a sun person. If I go too long with out seeing any sun, I get sad. :( I think this weather is only supposed to last a few days though.

When I lived in Oregon with my brother, I saw the sun twice in like a month and a half. I was going out of my mind!! Then I realized if I drive upriver I could escape the coastal fog, made life so much better, and I played some good golf at the golf course I found up there.

Was a very productive weekend, school wise. I'm nowhere caught up with my Exchange homework. I'm just hoping to pass the class. I don't feel too bad, because the whole class is behind. We may plan a mutiny against our IT chair. Haha! 54 assignments in 6 weeks, WHILE we are supposed to be studying for our MS certs, is too much. Just hoping for a C!

The weather has been nice, so many hot guys in shorts on campus! Woo hoo!

The last couple days have been great school wise. I've studied with the guys, wrote my first Powershell script, and today in class everyone thought I was from Mars because I didn't know what a mad-lib was, lol. I really like writing script, but it's so tedious! You can leave out ONE symbol, and the script will not run! That part is frustrating, but when the guys help, and we go line by line through my code, that helps finding the problem a lot easier. I do the same for them. Tomorrow we have another study session. :)

So my muse for tonight's post is the hot cook at Panera, I'm not sure you can even call them cooks, because they just make sandwiches, and pour soup in a cup, or bowl. Anyways, he's cute, pretty eyes, nice legs and we make eye contact a lot, but he is soooo straight. I think. Other wise why would we make eye contact a lot? Unless he wants to like gay bash me, but um, I don't think so. I'm rez. Ain't going down like that. Well tonight he came in and it must have been his day off because he wasn't dressed for work, and he had shorts and a tee on. I noticed he had tattoos. I'm not a big tattoo person, but whatev, to each their own. Leccy likes Tattoos! LOL
He sat a couple tables away from me with his friend, and we kept glancing at each other, but since I can't read him, I eventually just ignored him. That's how I operate! haha!
