Songs of Sunday

PSY-Gangnam Style I love this song, but the video is a lot more fun! On Sunday morning my buddy works out at the gym around the corner from where I live, so he lets me use his car to run errands and stuff. Today I got a much needed haircut! This song came on the radio and I was like, yup, def my post for today!

Everything is going okay, still looking for a job closer to home because the 14 hour days with the 6 hour commute time are killing me! Haha, the job is fine though. Took awhile to get used to that "good ol boy" mentality, but I fit in fine now. Although I am finding my self cursing more than usual, dang truckers! LOL I actually don't cuss, but now and then I find that a cuss words slips out. I'm learning more of the routing process, but I still primarily do dispatch. The truckers are so nice, they're very nice to me, but they don't like the new guy because he's kind of a in your face kind of guy. Very interesting dynamic at work. I'll have to go more into it later.

There is a possibility I may get a car this week, I should know tomorrow. I hope so, that would make my life so much easier! I'd actually have some free time to study for my MS Certs, and I could go see my parents, which of course means leftovers! Haha! Been sooooo long. Today I'm just chilling in downtown Sacramento. Downloading my shows and looking for a job closer to home. I'm about to go hit up the food court at the nearby mall though. Oh, so I was scrolling through pics on my phone, and 90% of them are pics of food! LOL So I think I'm going to start another blog with just pics of what I eat! Haha. Dunno, sounds like a good idea. When I started this blog years ago, the men of Les Dieux Du Stade were definitely a staple of my posts, them and Joseph Sayers, who I haven't posted in awhile. He's a very hot model, who's like 5'6" tall but so gorgeous. Anyway, I recently came across this "making of" video of the men from Dieux Du Stade. Hodgepodge

So my day started off bad, irritating, and annoying. Haha. Seriously I was just done by noon! My roomie took the day off to run an errand this morning, so that bummed me out. He of course sat in the condo all day afterwards. I have ONE day a week where I get the condo to myself, and it's Monday! *sigh* So I don't like to be here when he's here because it's a small place, not much privacy, and I feel stuck in my room. So I took off and hit the buses and trains, and ended up at Sac State where I caught up on some of my shows, applied for some jobs, enjoyed the eye candy (college dudes) and basically turned my day around.

This morning I also dealt with some people who annoy me, and I was just like...ugh, everyone leave me alone! Haha! Ever have one of those days? So I went off the grid, turned off my phone, gave Twitter the finger, and just had a chill afternoon. LOL

I applied for a waiter position that is close to home where I can walk to work and still have some me time, and probably make more money than I do now; not having to pay out for public transit fares. I like my job, and the people are okay, but 7a.m. to 9:30p.m. days are just too much for me. I get no time to get anything done. We'll see what happens with the waiter job. I just want to save up for a car, and get my MS Certs.

The gay property manager of the condo complex (yes I feel I must say that he's gay) haha, filled me in on the gossip today. I went to the clubhouse to download my shows, and he was like "Leo, where have you been? I haven't seen you in ages!" It was nice to catch up with him, he's going to give me a ride to work on Friday because his corporate office is in the same city I work, so that's cool. He also knows a guy who owns a car dealership, and may be able to get me a good deal, that's cool too.

 So I guess the point was, I was not meant to stay home and watch my shows today; like I normally do on Mondays. That's okay, turned an icky morning, into a great day. Hope you all are well. Back to work tomorrow for me. ;) peace

My muse for this post is the fact I heard this song in Safeway earlier today. Yes, in Safeway playing all over the store on the Safeway Music Network! LOL This song used to be the ish! Personal Jesus- Depeche Mode. This actually is when I think they went mainstream and lost some of their grittiness. I love some of the remixes of this song though. Think I'll go download the mixes. Hope you all have a great week! I didn't get the consulting gig, but that's okay. I have some other options out there, I know I can't do this public transit commute anymore, just too long of a day for me. I need some me time. ;) peace Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode. Today's Weather...

...was gray! Actually this was supposed to post yesterday! Haha, I forgot to hit publish. But so nice with the rain, and the cool weather. It didn't stay long, but it felt good while it was here. I had an interview for an IT job that I really want, it's 100% travel, but I'm okay with that. Different city each week for a year. I should know soon if I got it. There were some negotiation points that need to be settled first. Would be pretty awesome if my first IT position is a consultant role. I had my graduation ceremony on Friday, was such a good time. My parents, best friend, and best cousin attended. My parents went back home, and I went out for drinks with my cuz and friend afterwards. Was nice to catch up with two of the most important people in my life. I'm happy that chapter of my life is over, but this time next year I'll probably be back in school working on another degree. :) Back to work tomorrow, hope you all have a great week! ;) peace

Barely got out of bed this morning, took every ounce of willpower! I'm so sleepy right now. I have tomorrow off, it's my graduation ceremony. I'm definitely sleeping in though. I hope I can make it through today without nodding off. Maybe if I keep watching this videos it will help! Haha. ;) peace
