Tats

So today was a productive day, virtually anyways. I finally got the final version of my resume finalized. I applied to a few more places, got in contact with some recruiters, and basically spent my first day post-graduation...not stressing.

While outside the library Voxing,because it would be rude to do so in the library, this guy gets out of his car and his legs are amazing. He's average looking dude, not tall or buff, but his legs looked like they were carved from stone. I so wanted to ask him if it was natural, or did he work out. Haha! In any case, he had tats on his arms that were quite interesting because they were mostly colors and designs. Not really a tat of "anything" in particular. So here you go, enjoy! ;) peace

Abs

So today I woke up starving! I took it out on anything I could find. In the course of an hour I ate: A can of bean dip, half a bag of Fritos, 2 hot dogs, half a tub of potato salad, I'm not sure how many garlic stuffed olives, chips and salsa, a can of beefaroni, and then I cooked some instant rice with broccoli and cheddar. I'm not sure I even have abs anymore! :) I hope your week is going well. ;) peace

Tease

So, since I've graduated college it's all about looking for a job. It's tough! I know I'll end up working fast food or something, but I'm okay with that. You do what you gotta do. I've applied everywhere from IT jobs to Wal-Mart, I'm hopeful. I've had a couple bites from the IT world, I feel like it's so close. My entry level IT dream job is around the corner, I can feel it, but if not...well I'm prepared to ask "do you want fries with that?"

School

So I finished my last class tonight, AND I got an A+ on my Stats final exam. Yup, yes I did! All week I've been checking my school's website to see if my grade had posted and it never did. So tonight when I walked into class I immediately went to my prof and was like "why haven't you posted our grades? You always post them the day after, I have been checking the website all week!" So he hands me my final and I see the A+ and was like "what the...really? OMG", and he says "that's why I didn't post your grade, I wanted to see your expression, good job Leo." LOL

This teacher knows I freak about math, he knows how to calm me when I get frustrated, so I guess it was to be expected he would want to see my reaction to my score. I am so frigging happy right now. And now I'm done with school. I did it!

I know this might not be a big deal to some of you, but where I come from and how I grew up, it's a pretty big accomplishment. This Oglala Lakota boy from the rez did good. First in my family with a degree.

Hotness

So I have my last class on Friday night. I am so happy! I took my stats final, and I'm confident I passed, but I've been wrong before. It's going to be so weird not being in school. I do have an interview though, it's for a PC repair shop here in town. This should be an interesting week, hopefully with a lot of change for the good.

My muse for today's post is this cutie studying here in Panera. I've chatted with him before. He's also in school for IT, but he's just starting out. He's still taking his A+ certification classes. Awww I've had my cert for over a year now. Whenever we see each other at Panera it's always this awkward, flirtatious thing going on. He's hot, and if he's gay that of course would make him hotter. One day I'll get the nerve to ask for his number, but for now I enjoy our little chats. ;) peace

Annie Lennox - Why. I went and saw Hope Springs today starring Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones, I loved it. I was also the youngest person there, it was packed with elderly people! LOL It was a bit awkward during the couple of sex scenes to be surrounded by so many people with gray hair, but hey I guess even the elderly can get it on. Anyways during a scene that practically made me cry, they played this song.

So yesterday was my birthday. It was nice, hung out with a friend earlier in the day, went to a couple movies during the day, and then went and did a lil bar hopping in the evening. Met 2 drunk girls who gave me directions sending me in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go! Haha. Not as eventful as the time I went out when my BFF was down, but still had a good time. I'm not much of a partier, so I've had my fill for a while.

Today's Weather...

...was gray. It kinda felt like fall! It was also very gusty out, one of those days I'm thankful I have my backpack on, or else I'd blow away!

First off, my apologies. I shocked MYSELF when I saw I hadn't blogged in 7 days!! I swear, I am blogging in my head to you guys all the time! LOL So maybe I think I blogged a post, but I guess it's all in my head. Yes I'm concerned for me, too. Haha. Losing it.

Well I'm down to 3 more stats classes and I'm done. 2 more unemployment checks, and then that's gone. Still frantically looking for a job, hoping Josh can hook me up with a waiter position. He asked for my # the other day btw. :)

I interviewed for an IT position a couple days ago, I didn't get the position, but it was my first IT interview so that was kinda cool. I learned a lot from it. The location was difficult for me to get to though, so it may be a good thing.

So yeah, that's all. I got an A in my Cisco class, a B on my Stats test, and I'm still terrified of failing Stats and not graduating. So yeah with all that, and looking for a job, worrying about money, studying for my MS Certs, I'm kind of a mess. But a hot mess who looks like he has it all together. Haha which is probably why I THOUGHT I had blogged this past week.
